As part of the Arizona Memory Project, Bullion Plaza Cultural Center & Museum’s Research Assistant, Lee Ann Powers, appeared at the Globe-Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce, on Friday September 20th, to give a presentation on an early Globe business woman, Matilda Jane Moore, as part of Old Dominion Days, presented by our sister museum, Gila County Historical Museum (next door to the Chamber of Commerce). Matilda Jane Moore is one of many very interesting characters Lee Ann has discovered since digitizing the Arizona Record and the Arizona Silver Belt newspaper microfilms.
